Calculus&Mathematica courses require more than the typical numeric
solutions to problems. The answers need to be explained in English which means writing
sentences, and many times plots will be of a great help in further clarifying answers.
Nobody cares what the final number should be. (We already know the number.) We want to know how
YOU are thinking. Your solutions are descriptions of how you are
thinking your way through the situations. That's what we want...your thinking.
