Instrucors, assistants, mentors, and students studying calculus in either the on-campus lab or remote classroom communicate in many ways. Both environments use software to support this communication:
A web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Mozilla, Sufari)
- email- our squirrel mail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.
- hand in homework notebooks
- receiving returned homework
- dicussion board
- grades
Instant Messenger (AOL compatible)
- discuss math with hotline/mentors/instructors
- exchange MMA information/commands
Email (Eudora, Outlook, OSUmail)
- daily email to/from mentor
- exchanging notebooks
Note: The student is only required to have one email account. All mail from CROSU will be sent to their chosen account which they are responsible for checking.
